Service – Individual counseling

Receive individual counseling through a holistic approach that meets your personal background and identity. Therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions focused therapy, meditation, and mindfulness techniques to name a few. Clinical and spiritual methods can be utilized based on the client’s comfort level. .

Service – consultation

Receive consultations and specialized insight into specific concerns that you have personally experienced or are being observed of other family members. Consultations may also be obtained through referrals by other providers.

Service – couples counseling

Engage in a range of couples therapy services, including pre-marital counseling, couples counseling, and marriage counseling. Utilizing systems theory enables couples to understand the dynamics and impact of family and community experiences, along with any personal and cultural beliefs that impact the health of partner relationships.

support groups and workshops

Engage in specialized clinically grounded support groups that address past trauma, unresolved grief, self-care, and sudden life events such as caregiver support. In addition to groups, workshops and webinars are available to provide psychoeducational support surrounding these and other topics.

The founder and Operator of FOC Inc.

Dr. Donna Melynda Clarke is Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland, with a decade of experience in professional counseling and over 15 years in crisis counseling in a hospital setting. Dr. Clarke has managed hospital based therapeutic and advocacy services to support survivors of domestic and sexual victimization. She has over 20 years experience in pastoral work and counseling. Dr. Clarke recognizes the importance of incorporating cultural and spiritual beliefs inthe counseling setting. She serves on the Maryland Counseling Association subdivision of the Maryland Association for Spiritual Ethical and Religioud Values in Counseling. She is also part of the faculty at Johns Hopkins University where she teaches various graduate courses in Mental Health Counseling. Dr. Clarke is a certified supervisor for graduate counselors in training in the state of Maryland.
